I have look for this song for a very long time. My Dad used to sing this song on the men’s program day or some special thing going on at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Pittsburg, CA. My Mom would get up early Sunday Morning and press and curl his hair and they would sing this song while she did it. We would be sitting at the kitchen table eating cheese grits and eggs. GODS words held a family together.

Can’t you just smell the coffe and breakfast your parents or grandparents would be preparing on Sunday morning before time to head out to Sunday School.

Wow what a memory. I Thank God for my mind, memories, bad & good.

Brings back fond memories of my childhood. Our family group loved to sing that song in memory of my mom.

This song brings back some beautiful memories. I remember my mother singing this for years and years as she cried, prayed and rejoiced…now it has come to pass. September 26, 2010…at the young age of 62…she has nothing to do but just walk around Heaven all day.

    Miss you forever, Mom.

This song brings tears to my eyes. This was sung at my father’s funeral by his brother. It’s been 6 years now and I can still say that was one of the most beautiful home going I’ve ever witnessed. I miss you and love you, Daddy. Forever and a day. Won’t that be a glorious day when you meet up with your love ones and walk around heaven all day.
